I think that fairy tales that give young girls the message that a man on a white horse is coming one day to save them only sets women up for a life of disappointment. In reality, no man is coming to save us. We have to save ourselves! If a women is strong, centered and knows what she wants, it shows. Strength leaves clues!

You can't fake it! A strong man wants a strong woman by his side, not someone he has to save all the time. It's only the weak man that is looking to get his claws into a weak woman. How else can he feel superior? His superiority is felt by suppressing her individuality and It’s through his control of her that he is able to avoid his own limitation. The price the abused women has to pay to help him feel like a man is much to high.

Elizabeth A. Cohen is a Certified Hypnotist, whose goal is to empower women with the message that abuse of any form is not to be tolerated! She has spent some of her time volunteering at Safe Horizons, an organization within the criminal court system assisting women challenged by domestic abuse.

Her book "Through The Eyes Of A Child" is written with the intention of giving hope to women everywhere who find themselves trapped. Specializing in domestic violence, Ms.Cohen has a passion for empowering women survivors of domestic abuse.

Her philosophy is:
